We know many people are excited that the pubs will be opening after the PM’s announcement.
After receiving the government guidelines for pubs to re-open and a long management meeting about how to make these guidelines work for us (and you) we are pleased to confirm that we WILL be opening on the 4th of July from 11.00am.
However, as you can imagine, your experience is going to be a little different…
Please see below our new (temporary) rules based on the government guidelines we have received.
Mon – Tue Bar: 5pm till late Kitchen will be closed on Monday’s & Tuesday’s to allow same team working guidelines but you are welcome to bring your own food on these days once one drink per person has been purchased until further notice.
Wed – Sat Bar: 10am till late Kitchen: 10am – 9pm
Sunday Bar: 10am till late Kitchen: 10am – 8pm
🍻 Please do not book tables online for drinking only.
🍻 BOOKING A TABLE FOR FOOD: in order to make it fair for all customers, your table will be available for you for up to 2 hours. After 2 hours you will be welcome to move to the bar or outside tables if available. Each dining table will be given a 2 hour time slot 2 hour so please arrive and depart on time so we can sanitize the area ready for the next guests. This is crucial for us and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this policy. You can book you table online at www.thelittletonarms.com or via the littleton arms app ( you can pre-order and pay for all food and drink via the app too ) If you do not have a booking you may not be able to enter the premises (depending on remaining available space) however you will be able to eat outside as the same menu will be served.
🍻 We will only be accepting bookings of up to 6 from any number of households. We will require all children to remain seated (inside and outside). Dogs will be allowed outside only and must always be on the lead.
🍻 All customers will be required to enter from the side door at the back of the car park (between the main building and the sheds) and exit via the main entrance. All will be signposted. There will be a one-way system inside the building. Please follow the signs.
🍻 You will be required to provide your details (name, phone number or email address) so that we can be compliant with the NHS track and trace systems. All your personal data will be stored securely for 21 days as per government guidelines.
🍻 You will be required to follow the social distancing rules when using the toilets.
🍻 You will be required to sanitize your hands when entering the building.
🍻 When not seated you will be required to wear masks. Please bring your own if possible.
🍻 Ordering will be done via Littleton app or you will be able to order with one of the servers. All the drinks and food will be brought to you by the server. Please do not try to order at the bar.
🍻 Due to the current guidelines live music (bands and DJs) is not permitted and we are also not allowed to turn background music up to a point where customers and staff need to “raise their voice above a normal level” to be heard.
🍻 Avoid raising your voices, shouting, singing, dancing, approaching other peoples tables or behaving like you would in a pub! 😉 this is because the “potential risk of increased transmission particularly from aerosol transmission” is greater when these activities are performed.
🍻 Our TAKEAWAY service will continue. You will be able to order anything off the regular menus including Sunday lunches. This may change as we get used to our new procedures.
PLEASE remember that we are all learning, bear with us at this strange time, we WILL be doing things here by the book as best we can in order for everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible so please try to support us in doing so.
These rules are subject to change as soon as we are able to (and we hope it is soon!!) They are a temporary fix, but each rule has been put in place for a reason on the guidance we have been given. Anyone found not adhering to these rules OR giving staff a hard time over it will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave the venue.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
